This policy sets out how Avon Media LLC ("we", "us") handles personal data gathered through avonmediallc.com. Continuing to use the site indicates that you accept the practices described here.

What We Collect

  • Details you send us — the name, email address, telephone number and book or campaign information you type into an enquiry form or share over live chat.
  • Details recorded automatically — IP address, browser and device type, the page that referred you and the pages you viewed, captured by standard analytics.

Why We Hold It

  • To answer your enquiry and price the campaign you asked about.
  • To carry out, administer and report on any campaign you commission from us.
  • To send updates about your campaign, plus occasional marketing where you have opted in.
  • To keep the website working, secure and useful.

Your Book and Confidentiality

Anything you send us — a manuscript, a pre-release proof, cover files, sales figures or an advance copy under embargo — remains yours. We hold it in confidence and show it only to the colleagues assigned to your campaign, plus the narrator and journalists you have approved. We will not sell it, licence it or publish it, and we will not use your title, coverage or results as a sample or case study without asking you first in writing.

Who Else Sees Your Data

We do not sell personal data to anyone. It is shared only with the suppliers and partners who help us deliver the work — email, hosting and payment providers, press distribution services, audiobook retailers and distributors, and the advertising platforms we run your campaigns on — limited to what each needs in order to do its job, and with anyone we are legally obliged to disclose it to. Where you ask us to arrange press or interviews, we share the author details needed for the pitch with the journalists and producers concerned.

Cookies

Cookies keep the site functioning and show us how visitors move through it. Your browser settings let you block or clear them, with the caveat that some features may stop behaving as intended if you do.

How Long We Keep It

Enquiry records are held for as long as we need them to deal with you and to satisfy our legal and accounting obligations. After that they are deleted or stripped of anything identifying.

What You Can Ask For

You are entitled to see the personal data we hold on you, to have it corrected or erased, and to be removed from any marketing list. Write to [email protected] and we will deal with it promptly.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational safeguards to protect what we hold. That said, no transmission over the internet is ever completely secure, so absolute security cannot be promised.

Updates to This Policy

This policy may be revised from time to time. Any new version applies from the moment it appears on this page.
