The rules that apply when you use avonmediallc.com or commission work from us.
These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of avonmediallc.com and to any work you ask Avon Media LLC to carry out. Using the site or commissioning a project means you accept them.
Our services cover public relations and media outreach, audiobook production, and book marketing, together with the work that sits inside those three — press releases, podcast and radio bookings, award submissions, narrator casting, recording, mastering, audiobook distribution, metadata and category work, and paid advertising management. The specific deliverables, schedule and price for your campaign are defined in the written quote or agreement issued before any work starts — that document takes precedence over anything described on this website.
Your agreement states how many rounds of revision are included on written deliverables such as press releases, media kits and retail copy. Those rounds cover refining what has already been delivered. Changing direction or scope materially — a different campaign angle, a recast narrator after recording has begun, a new set of target markets — is new work, and we will quote for it separately rather than absorb it silently.
Whatever you supply stays yours throughout. Once the final payment clears, every right in the material we produce for you passes to you — the audiobook master included — along with the right to publish and sell it under your own name. We claim no authorship credit, no narration rights and no share of royalties unless a written agreement says otherwise.
Your manuscript, unreleased editions, sales figures and commercial information are treated as confidential and disclosed only to the colleagues working on your campaign, and to the narrator, distributors and media contacts the work requires.
You agree to supply the final text, cover files, biography and listing details accurately, to approve narrator auditions and campaign copy within the agreed windows, to attend interviews we have booked for you, and to ensure nothing you send infringes anyone else's rights. Where approvals run late or a booked interview is missed, delivery dates move by the same amount and any rebooking costs fall to you.
You can cancel in writing whenever you wish. Work already completed at that point is payable; anything held against milestones we have not started is returned to you. Refund terms for completed deliverables are set out in your individual agreement and in our Refund Policy.
We undertake to perform the work with professional skill and care. We make no guarantee of coverage in any particular publication, podcast or programme, of an award placing, or of sales figures, chart position and review counts — those decisions rest with editors, producers, judges and readers we do not employ, in market conditions nobody controls.
So far as the law allows, our total liability on any project is capped at the fees you have paid us for that project. We accept no liability for indirect or consequential loss.
When we distribute, list or advertise for you via Amazon, Audible, ACX, Spotify, a wire service, an advertising network or any other platform, that platform's own terms govern the result. Their decisions, policy changes, rejections, pricing and outages are outside our control and are not our responsibility. Equally, where a journalist or producer publishes coverage, the content and tone of what they write or broadcast is theirs, not ours.
Where we manage paid advertising, the media spend is yours and is held in your own advertising account unless your agreement says otherwise. Our management fee is invoiced separately from that spend. Advertising results vary, and budget committed to a platform is spent as soon as the ads run — it cannot be recovered from us.
We may revise these terms periodically. The version published here on the day you engage us is the one that governs your project.
